Oxfordshire based Lifeline Eating Disorders Support supports those with eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia and complusive eating. We provide a confidential service for those with eating disorders and where to go for help if we can't advise you ourselves. We can help you with your eating disorder by supporting you and befriending you either in a support group or on a course or on a one-to-one basis. Our aim is not to categorise people or label people into boxes but treat people as individuals whatever their situation or eating struggles. We concentrate on loving and supporting all those struggling with eating disorders as well as related issues like self-harm.
We can also help and support those who work with people with eating disorders by showing them how best to love and support those they are working with/caring for. This may include community leaders, parents, teachers, ministers and youth leaders.
We are based in Oxfordshire but are happy to signpost you onto other organisations in other areas if needed. We have many links with other organisations and charities supporting people with eating disorders and related issues so do get in touch. We have run courses in Didcot, Oxford and Wantage and plan more courses in the future for those struggling. We plan to run our next course in the Abingdon area in June/July time. More details to come.
