Oxfordshire based Lifeline Eating Disorders Support supports those with eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, compulsive eating, anorexia athletica, bulimia and EDNOS (eating disorders not otherwise specified). We provide advice for eating disorders and where to go for help if we can't advise you ourselves and help you with your eating disorder by supporting you and befriending you. However, we don't want to categorise people or label people. Instead we concentrate on loving and supporting all those struggling with issues relating to food and self-harm.
We also help and support those who work with people with eating disorders and show them how best to love and support those afflicted, including community leaders, parents, teachers and youth leaders.
We are based in Oxfordshire but are happy to signpost you onto other organisations in other areas if needed. We have many links with other organisations and charities supporting people with eating disorders so do get in touch especially if you live in Wantage, Abingdon or Didcot and struggle with an eating disorder or know someone who is struggling as we have teams based in these areas developping to support you/counsel you where trained suitably. We also shortly going to be running a support group course called New ID in Oxford.
