Fundraising
In 2006 we held the "Life is a Ball" event at Wantage Civic Hall in Oxfordshire. Last year in 2007, it was "Shaken not Stirred" in the Kings Centre, Oxford. Both events were great and you can see pictures from them at: www.tomtphotos.co.uk
Sunday May 4th to Bank Holiday Monday May 5th 2008 Sponsored walk. This took place on the Ridgeway near Wantage and Swindon. We are very tired and sore-footed but it was great!
Other events have included pampered parties and soon to come is a pottery painting festa in Wantage, Oxfordshire. Email us for more details of fundraising events.
Saturday 26th June 2009 MERCY walk for Mercy Ministries. Last year Tom and Jude walked from Wantage to Carterton! We have raised over £400 to help those in the Mercy Home in Bradford, Yorkshire and locally in Oxfordshire too. These girls need are help and the money will go towards expanding the Mercy home and setting up support groups called new id in Oxfordshire. It was lovely a fine, hot day but there were lots of blisters by the end of it!
We recently held a cheese and wine evening in Childrey Village Hall which raised over £90 for the two charities of Lifeline Eating Disorders Support supported by Oxfordshire Community Churches and also Mercy Ministries. This was a great event and lots of cheese and wine was enjoyed by all!
